The cycle “Munich book for piano”, dedicated to friends of the composer, contains 6 pieces for piano inspired by the city of Munich, Bavaria Taras Yachshenko was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, which happens to be a partner city of Munich. Munich had been his city of residence where he had felt at home. The love for his motherland and the traditional partnership between Kyiv and Munich inspired Taras Yachshenko to compose these piano pieces. They are connected in a logical key sequence. The core-piece is the nocturne „Night On The Isar”. However the pieces can also be performed individually. The “Munich book for piano” was published in 2009 by Wolfgang G.Haas-Musikverlag Köln e.K .
