Romantic Modern Piano: Paolo Quilichini – Valzer Onirico

Description

Valzer Onirico (dreamy, unreal) can be understood as a soundtrack to a dream and to images and suggestions that the dream has left the composer (like a surreal dance suspended in the timeless dimension of the dream …).

Paolo about his music: “Many of my compositions come from a pictorial or narrative inspiration (a painting, a poem, a text …).
Alexandra, Pantomima, Dopo il tramonto, Tre ritratti (one of my compositions for flute and guitar published by Berben) are inspired by paintings, landscapes or portraits. In my music, i try to imagine moments in the life of people who lived centuries earlier, as in the case of Pantomima (Renaissance lady) or Alexandra. Or I recreate musically the emotions that I receive from the picture.”
