Interview

What does music mean to you personally?

Music for me is an opportunity to communicate with the Creator. You begin to understand that you cannot live without it, and you are happy to do it without receiving any material goods in return ...A gift is a talent that is given by the Creator for a gift, and You really should give it away without thinking what you will receive in return ..This is your inner devotion to music..

Do you agree that music is all about fantasy?

maybe..but first of all true music is a rejection of hypocrisy

If you were not a professional musician, what would you have been?

I would like to become either an artist or a doctor

The classical music audience is getting old, are you worried about the future?

Of course I feel some anxiety…Although I'm sure that the classical music has long passed the test of time.It is always a vital sip of pure spring water for humans.Listening to such music reminds human of his divine origin …

What do you envision the role of music to be in the 21st century? Do you see that there is a transformation of this role?

It's too early to talk about your role..I will be happy if my music resonates in the hearts of other people..

Do you think that the musician today needs to be more creative? What is the role of creativity in the musical process for you?

I think, first of all, a musician today should be honest and sincere

Do you think we as musicians can do something to attract the younger generation to music concerts? How would you do this?

I would advise young people to discover the wonderful magical world of classical music…It elevates our thoughts and feelings, warms the soul…

Tell us about your creative process. What is your favorite piece (written by you) and how did you start working on it?

Although the creative process always has a hint of mystery and mystique, I consider it as everyday work..Tchaikovsky composer is well said about this “Inspiration is such a guest who does not like to visit the lazy..”

Can you give some advice for young people who want to discover classical music for themselves?

Go at least once to a classical concert or to the opera

Do you think about the audience when composing?

no..when you compose music the only thing you think about is how convenient it will be for the performer..

What projects are coming up? Do you experiment in your projects?

Now I am finishing two sonatas,… piano sonata, and for cello and piano..And about the experiments? Our whole life is an experiment…
