The Villa Rot has been built in 1912 in the Art Nouveau style with some neo-classical elements. Since its opening in 1992, the Villa Rot Museum has been established as a location for exhibitions with intercultural aims. The villa is embedded in a wonderful countryside which is called “Oberschwaben” and lies in the South-West of Germany. The villa is a museum and as well a concert hall. It sees itself as an ideal cross-cultural meeting place.
The Villa is organising one to two concerts per quarter with excellent musicians. The goal of the art director is it to bring excellence also to place far away from the big concert halls.
In January the Minguet Quartett, a string quartet, guested in the Villa, in May the pianist Kit Armstrong and in June the pianist Hando Nahkur.
