Anna Sutyagina plays the original expressive piano composition by Alanya Bridge “Amethyst” from the collection “Journey Songs”

The purple variety of quarz, called Amethyst, is the source of inspiration of the modern piano composition of the Australian composer Alanya Bridge. The light lavender or deep purple colour of the stone, often used in jewellery, is reflected in her emotional music.
