Lost Child = harp and soul music = basis for cello duet that will be on the Spring release CD Beautiful World. The album contains landscape music ( (subdued and stilled music that reflects the internal & external landscapes we are moving in = landscape music ; a meditative, yet lyrical note-score to create beauty and consolation) and features harp duets/trios with clarinet, percussion, keyboard, vocals and cello.

The harp is my heart .. music my passion ; creating something new is the ultimate freedom to express myself. In surrender to the enchanted dance with the strings (it feels like being in trance) i can feel my harp/body and soul resonating .. my breathing is the metronome and guide. Sometimes i live a (day)dream during improv. & composition .. i go with the flow and i have such a strong connection with my instrument .. life is good !

When the well known hammond player Sven Figee added a wonderful improvisation to the harp sounds, the harp solo changed into an amazing duet. “Two Sisters” is inspired by the relationship between sisters with each their own character as the harp and the hammond so well translate. An introvert and a more expressive person are having a conversation as it were and at the same time they complement each-other perfectly.
The harp/HAMMOND piece is another great example of music recycling and a remarkable recording technique. Overdubbing is often used in pop music, but this sound on sound procedure is a true innovation in the classical music world.
To Anne it is essential that her music evolves, gets another set of wings. For example by changing a harp solo into a remix, re-arrangement or by recording an improvisation on already recorded harpsounds. Anne says : “to me music and poetry are the most profound ; to be touched by the unsaid”
