Pure Price, Musician and Classical Cello Instructor

My approach to classical music:
Growing up in an exceptionally talented musical family in Huntington Woods, MI, I began the study of classical music at the age of six, directed by my mother...an extraordinary classical pianist. I studied cello firmly through my academic years, working with the strongest cello instructors in Michigan with my mother being my piano accompanist at recitals and other performances. After graduating high school, I studied music at Wayne State University, studying firmly with Marci Chanteaux, the first chair cellist of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Profile
I'm a professional musician, graduating with a B.A. in Cello Performance from Wayne State and studying with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. However, I also play guitar, bass, keys and some other instruments (and rock is my thing) so I bought an electric cello, added my electric guitar pedals and went to work. I'm the lead vocalist, composer and electric cellist/slide guitarist in an incredible rock group called 'Pure Price'. The exploration of music leads to the discovery of life.
