Prelude: “The Swedish Forest” by Tommaso Leva

Description

The Swedish Forest is the first movement of the composition concerning more pieces written about Scandinavia. It was written as a piece of atmosphere approaching in a faster becoming society to a kind of meditative style. The composition is a mix of different styles and combines
classical inspired lines and harmonies with jazz sounding chords. This piece is formless like even other prelude. As a memory of a journey thought to describe the beauty and cold colours of the landscapes from Sweden and Scandinavia.

Undisturbed nature in full glory in idyllic forest and valleys that extend to the sea. This piece calls the audience to imagine with more fantasy a natural ambiance.
