Taras Yachshenko was born in 1964 in Kyiv, Ukraine, which happens to be a partner city of Munich. Since 1993 Munich has been his city of residence where he has felt at home. The love for his motherland and the traditional partnership between Kyiv and Munich inspired Taras Yachshenko to compose these piano pieces. They are connected in a logical key sequence. The core-piece is the nocturne „Night On The Isar”. However the pieces can also be performed individually.
