Dusan Rapos - portrait 1

My approach to classical music:

I love classical music and I try to mix symphony orchestra & philharmonic choir with rock section recently.

Hailing from Eastern Slovakia, Maestro Dusan Rapos is a prolific award-winning composer of dramatic orchestrated music for soundtracks and films. Working in Europe, Canada, and the US, his background includes experience as a Film and TV Director, Screenwriter, Lyric Writer, and pedagogue of Faculty of Mass Media Communication at University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia. With Dusan's impressive symphonic orchestra music just a click away, you can easily find the perfect soundtrack for your commercial, movie, or website.

Dusan Rapos graduated in 1982 from the Film and Television Directing Department of the Academy of Performing Arts Bratislava. In 2000, he married a popular Czech actress and poet Eva Vejmelkova in Las Vegas, and they have two daughters named Tara and Rita. He lives in Havirov in Moravia and in Bratislava alternately. His latest movie to date, a family music comedy titled A Fountain for Susan 3, has won the highest prizes at the international film festivals in Atlanta and Philadelphia. The juries of both festivals valued not only the workmanship and artistic quality of the film, but also its significant anti-racist ideals and international appeal for love, understanding, and tolerance towards people of different colors.
